AGE held their first Global Supplier Meeting for the year, with its global stock management teams.
Marco Moreno, AGE CEO and Chairman, opened the event by announcing AGE new partner suppliers, ICOR and Wizziq, for automotive glass replacement and repair tools. AGE’s objective is to deliver the best service possible, which is only obtainable through continued delivery of quality customer experience and the strengthening of its supplier portfolio.
“To facilitate and coordinate our stock teams around the world, AGE needs to guarantee at least two partner suppliers for key products used in our 2 000 workstations every day.
Our members are already familiar with these two partner suppliers and we believe that this new agreement will only solidify our relationship,” explained Moreno.
David Pesquera, Business Development Manager of ICOR, continued the meeting by sharing ICOR’s new range of products and global strategies. Sales teams, research and development, and quality labs were also discussed.
This meeting was a good opportunity for ICOR to show their vision for the future and current work with DuPont, AGE’s partner supplier for adhesives.
Alexander Kurvers, Wizziq Sales & Marketing Manager, wrapped up the meeting by sharing Wizziq journey so far.
Wizziq’s innovative repair system allows AGE members to repair customers vehicles in 15 minutes with LED UV lamps and innovative resin that is acid-free and ecofriendly. Kurvers also shared that a simple repair we can save up to 42kg of CO2.
Wizziq products are in line with global standards (AFNOR), European and BSI standards, CLP regulation EC No 1272/2008 for packaging and labeling, and health and safety regulations (MSDS). Wizziq offers training and certification for all glass professionals.
These meetings are a great opportunity for AGE partner suppliers to discuss developments related to stock management, such as new products and developments.
