Sika: New AGE Partner Supplier

AGE signs a global agreement with Sika, manufacturer of OEM and aftermarket windshield adhesives.

Sika has 101 subsidiaries in countries around the world, 300 factories, and 25 000 employees that generated 9.24 billion sales in 2021.

SikaTack® automotive glass adhesives are used daily in glass services globally and offer a reliable and safe windshield replacement. In 1980, Sika launched their first primerless glass adhesive and now their PowerCure system offers a fast replacement for commercial automotive glass. SikaTack® adhesives have proven their performance in millions of installations worldwide.

As for sustainability, Sika aims to continue to reduce its CO2 emissions and advance e-mobility by investing in technology that reduces the overall consumption of limited resources and greenhouse gases.

“High quality, performance, safety, and sustainability are key selection criteria for new AGE partners. We believe that Sika is a perfect fit for our group, and with this new international agreement our members can expect premium products locally,” explained Marco Moreno, CEO and Chairman of AGE.

Sika is an OEM-approved supplier for adhesives – all its products have been crash tested and have proven to exceed rigorous Federal Safety Standards (FMVSS 212).

This agreement follows the AGE strategy of onboarding at least two leading partner supplier agreements for key materials used in automotive glass services around the world.
