AGE Members Global Meeting

AGE held a “Global Members Meeting”, reuniting its 21 members to discuss a common business strategy, commercial updates, and sustainability commitments.

Sales & Marketing Manager of DuPont Mobility and Materials, Martin Beer, opened the meeting by analysing the new upcoming EU regulations for diisocyanate handling and actions that need to be put into place in the upcoming year.

DuPont and AGE have had a very good relationship for several years and together they continue to provide the best products in the market to the AGE network.

Marco Moreno, AGE CEO & Chairman, continued the meeting by sharing the 4 key elements in AGE’s group market review and business strategy. This included aiming to solve current issues, such as price increases, actions to improve growth, partnerships, and environmental commitments.

The meeting was also a good opportunity for AGE to share their current standing point as a group, with global jobs numbers showing clear growth in past months.

New members and partners updates were furthermore discussed, as well as a new project powered by AGE which will expand the network’s global presence. Further details on this new project will be released in due course.

As for suppliers, Moreno explained that to continue to be a relevant player in the market AGE needs to continuously expand and improve its portfolio.  “By selecting only high-quality products and suppliers that provide innovative solutions for our customer’s needs, we believe we will continuously improve our group. The car industry is changing constantly, we need to adapt quickly to offer the best solutions to our partners and clients so we can be ahead of competitors,” said Marco Moreno.

The AGE board reiterated their intention of continuing to participate in international tenders as a group, with win-win agreements as their main focus.

To coordinate work, and drive service excellence, between members at an international level, it was announced that AGE will release a service level agreement between members and will keep moving forward with their digital transformation and glass claims platform. AGE believes that with these agreements and updates, AGE international jobs will flow more naturally between members and show that we work as one.

To close the meeting, AGE group focused on their repair before replacement policy, one of AGE’s key environmental commitments. The current global repair ratio as a group was presented and several actions discussed in order to increase the numbers at a local and global level.
