16/02/2022
AGE signs a global agreement with Inspektlabs, a digital artificial intelligence (AI) platform that detects physical damage on vehicles through video or photo uploads.
Inspektlabs was founded by former McKinsey & Co. and Zomato employees, Devesh Trivedi (CEO) and Sanchit (CPO) in 2019. Inspektlabs won the NTT Data Global Innovation contest in Tokyo (2021) and Top Global Startups from Americas, Insurtech Insights (2021).
Currently based in Delaware (USA), Inspektlabs has development centers in Delhi and Jaipur is present in more than 10 countries globally, with more than 500 000 inspections done.
“AGE is very happy to announce its first AI partner. This partnership will assist in cementing our digital transformation capabilities. With this new digital tool, our members will be able to upload photos or videos of vehicles via their cell phones and, in just a few seconds, know if the customer needs an automotive glass repair or replacement.
Inspektlabs software offers + 95% accuracy, and we hope this will also advance our sustainability commitment, Repair before Replace,” explained Marco Moreno, CEO and Chairman of AGE.
The Repair before Replace Policy drives the repairing of automotive glass instead of replacing it thus contributing to the preservation of the environment and its natural resources. AGE repair services are completed to the highest industry standards, mainly BSI and AFNOR, and are more economical.
In the AGE marketing global meeting Autoboys CEO and AGE board member, Filum Ho, presented a new project with Inspektlabs tool and the ways that it can create new opportunities for insurance companies, especially in South Africa. The project will be announced soon.
